Where is Licinza based?

Licinza is based in Glasgow, Scotland, and is launching across Glasgow first. We plan to grow city by city across Scotland and then the rest of the UK, only where we have real local instructors.

Licinza was founded in Glasgow by Aamir Khan, who saw how much time learners and instructors lose to phone tag, paper diaries and chasing payments. The team combines experience in digital marketing, technology and the driving industry.

How does Licinza make money?

Instructors pay a 5% commission on lessons booked through Licinza, and driving schools pay for a School or Enterprise plan. Joining is free for instructors, with no monthly fee. An optional membership with no commission is coming soon.

How does Licinza keep learners safe?

Every instructor is a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor, checked by the Licinza team, fully insured and teaching in a dual-control car. Payments are taken securely online and only released to the instructor after each lesson is delivered.

Licinza is preparing to launch in Glasgow. Instructors can join early access now, and learners can sign up to hear first when booking opens in their area.

Our story

Why we built Licinza.

Learners spend weeks phoning and messaging instructors, with no easy way to compare prices, cars or reviews. Instructors juggle paper diaries, last-minute cancellations and chasing payments, often late at night after a full day of teaching.

Licinza started in Glasgow to fix both sides at once: one place where learners can find a trusted instructor in minutes, and where instructors and driving schools can run their whole business without the admin.
